The KDJ Team

David D. Mueller – PRESIDENT/CEO
David graduated from Texas Lutheran College in 1971 and settled in Marion with his family in 1974. He spent several years in the Life Insurance industry before opening his own business, KDJ Insurance Agency, in Marion in 1981. David was elected to the Board of Directors of Hochheim Prairie Farm Mutual Insurance Company of Texas in 1997, and just the following year was elected Mayor of the newly formed city of Santa Clara, Texas. In 2002 the Hochheim Prairie Board of Directors named him Chairman of the Board. David is a past Director of the Texas Association of Mutual Insurance Companies and an active member of the Marion Economic Development District and the Marion Education Foundation.
Jewell P. Davenport – VICE PRESIDENT
Jewell joined KDJ early in its existence, became a licensed agent in 1986, and has been with the agency for 25 years. She graduated from Texas Lutheran University in 1999 with a BBA in Accounting. In 2004 Jewell became a Partner of the Agency, and opened the KDJ Schertz office. As a founding Board Member of the Schertz Chamber of Commerce, Jewell was elected Chairman in 2007.
Judy Mueller – CUSTOMER SERVICE REP.
Judy graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1980, and after teaching in the Marion ISD for 25 years, she retired and joined the KDJ team in March, 2006. She is now a licensed CSR and operations coordinator in both the Marion and Schertz offices.
Cori L. Jett – CUSTOMER SERVICE REP
Cori is a returning Marion Bulldog who graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a BBA in Finance. After managing and gaining extensive customer service experience in the retail industry, for the past 12 years, Cori decided to join the KDJ Insurance team. She is looking forward to establishing strong relationships with KDJ clients.

Our lead company is Hochheim Prairie Insurance. This Texas company is 116 years old. We like doing business with Texans.

During the past two years, the auto insurance markets have changed greatly. We have a diverse group of companies to meet the pricing needs for our clients.
